Christopher Perez is a Philadelphia-based financier whose career in commercial real estate finance spans more than 25 years and over a billion dollars in closed transactions.

He is best known for building at scale. At the height of his brokerage career, Chris led a national team of more than 17,000 brokers that generated tens of millions of dollars in financed transactions every month, an operation few people in the industry have matched.

Today Chris is CEO of a brokerage and direct lending operation, and he has made education his mission. In 2012 he founded the Commercial Capital Institute (CCI), and since then he has trained thousands of people in how to originate, structure and close commercial real estate loans, and how to build a finance business from the ground up.

His path to finance was anything but typical. Chris spent roughly fifteen years as a professional umpire and basketball official, a career built on making the right call under pressure, in front of a crowd, with no do-overs. He brought that same discipline into real estate as an investor and designer, came through the 2008 crash, and rebuilt on the hard-won lessons of that cycle. He then turned those lessons into a business consulting practice.

Since then, Chris has spent his career on the capital side of business: helping owners become fundable, structuring business and real estate financing, and building the AI-driven operating systems that let a small team perform like a large one. That is exactly what he brings to Oceanview. Chris Perez brings the lending expertise and the broker-building model. Chris Vail brings the operational structure, technology and accountability that turn it into a repeatable, scalable machine.
